I'm pretty excited to have used a new Photoshop CS6 feature (finally), layer filtering. As you can see in my wicked awesome layer structure, I've got shadow layers, all set to 100%. So rather than having to turn down each arrow, find my shadow layer, and set my desired opacity, I was able to search by name (note: there are loads of ways to filter; blending mode; fill layers, text layers, etc.). The layers panel filters down to only layers with that in the name, I could then select all of them and set them to a different opacity. pretty sweet.
It's not uncommon for me to roll my eyes at new photoshop features, then immediately embrace them.
